 WELCOME -
     The glitch in the economy has really hurt the modeling industry, it has effected Hobbynuts also. My time has been split because the orders have slowed and I still need to pay the bills. Time for updates and adding all the new stuff that is coming out has been limited. Also I can't get some of the features working and it is driving me nuts. The thing I need to do is hang up my hankie and get to work!
 

WHAT'S NEW -
  It is amazing that NOW companies like Round 2, Moebius, Revell, Lindberg, are coming out with new kits...every month...whhy didn't they do this when the economy was booming? Not just regular ole kits, but great ones. We are looking at bringing in Eduard kits. I have brought in several and they are phenomenal and the price is right in line with what is reasonable for a modeling kit.

PRICING -

 Plastic Modeling kits being petroleum based, the cost of shipping from overseas, the shipping cost from distributors to us, have all combined to cause the 2009 price increases to be rather significant, especially for some of the brands. This continues in 2010 and it looks like this summer there will be another spike in the price of oil, which will hopefully not effect the future prices of model kits.

We at Hobbynuts have evaluated these increases and have decided to lower our margin to try and offset the increase. We have also decided not to raise the shipping costs.
    
     We could use your help to keep the prices low, please tell your modeling friends about the site. Hopefully they will see that our prices and service are great and become regular customers....which will allow us to keep the prices low, because the more we sell helps offset the reduction we have made to our prices.
